Anyone who loves modernist homes in touch with nature and has time for a ride in the country this afternoon is in for a treat. The modernist home of Peter and Tanya Fontaine at 3108 Eno River Trace is open from noon to 5 p.m.as part of the Green Home Tour of the Triangle.

Designed by architect Arielle Condoret Schechter and built by Newphire Building, the new house may be hard for GPS to find, so follow directions below and enjoy a trip through western Orange County that ends at a circular gravel driveway in the woods along Eno River.
